The thing that started it all. I don't think I've even told TT about this but when I first saw XS I became hooked. I went on the internet, did a web search and came up with this. The Pilot episode. Show creator and Producer Christy Hui made this and attracted the eye of Nickelodeon. They wanted to make "Shaolin Showdown" Christy decided to put her faoth in the better network of Kids WB! If her show was ever to be made. Kids WB! Liked the pilot and comissioned the show for two season (Each with thirteen episodes). Hui changed the show's name to "Xiaolin Showdown" because she thought it looked cooler. When Season 1 did so well Season 2 was extended and another 13 episodes (Season 3) were comissioned and made. When they all did so well the makers of XS began work on Season 4. Kids WB! Denied to make it at the last minute but have recently accepted and priduced XS for it's 4th Season due to the show's massive popularity. I couldn't find any pics of the Pilot but to the extent of my knowledge these were the only changes.
1. The animation was of pretty bad quality
2. The story was not the same as episode one. In the episode the warriors met and searched for the Gauntlet of Tebbigong (Soon to be Fist) and found a puzzle box on the way. They accidentally open it releasing Wuya who flies off and accidentally meets up with Jack. The warriors then go after the Eye of Dashi and meet up with Jack. He gets the eye (The warriors got the Gauntlet) then the Two Ton Tunic reveals itself and Jack and Omi showdown. Omi wins.
3. Omi's head was more of a Dashi shape and Omi was played by Christy Hui, not Tara Strong
4. Raimundo was called Pablo and was Spanish not Brazillian; he was not voiced by Tom Kenny; rather Jason Marsden (Who later became the voice of Chase Young)
5. Clay (The biggest change) was called Rufus and was Russian
6. Kimiko was pretty much the same but was voiced by Christy Hui not Grey Delisle
7. Dojo was blue and was voiced by the same voice actor but still had a different voice
8. Ghost Wuya looked different (I never saw the pic so i don't know how)
9. Jack had black hair and regular pinkish skin
Unfortunately I can't find anything about this any more but apparently several Pilots were made although I'm not sure if that's true.
And there you have it. An XS history factamundo
